BOSTON – State Representative Danielle Gregoire has endorsed Ed Markey in his bid for re-election to the United States Senate. Gregoire represents the 4th Middlesex District, which includes parts of Marlborough, Northborough, and Westborough.

“Senator Markey has been an advocate for some of the most important, and often underrepresented, issues our state is facing,” said Gregoire. “He has stood up to Big Tobacco to hold them accountable for the harm they’re doing to our kids and our communities. I am very proud to endorse Ed Markey and work to help his campaign.”

Senator Markey has served in the United States Senate for the last six years and is widely regarded as the leading member of Congress on environmental issues. He has also led legislation to protect consumers and address the opioid epidemic, internet privacy concerns, and net neutrality.
