BOSTON – Elizabeth Vlock has joined Ed Markey’s campaign for re-election to the United States Senate as the Press Secretary. Prior to joining the Markey campaign, Liz worked as a spokeswoman for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

“I am proud to join Senator Markey’s campaign for re-election to the United States Senate,” said Liz Vlock. “Throughout his career, Senator Markey has been a strong advocate for environmental protections, women’s rights and ending income inequality. I could not be more excited to join this team.”

“Liz brings energy, strong press relationships and extensive communications expertise to Team Markey,” said John Walsh, Senior Campaign Director. “We are lucky to have her leadership and talent in our communications department, and I am excited about the creativity and insight she will bring to our campaign.”

A Cambridge native, Liz attended Cornell University, graduating in 2009 with a major in Political Science. She received her Masters in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University in 2015.
