Volunteer assigned to one of 2,171 precincts in Massachusetts. Precinct Captains work individually or within teams to identify supporters in a precinct and turn them out to vote on Election Day.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Attend & support weekly phone banks held by Community Captain
- Own the win in your precinct: Adopt a precinct and oversee Team Markey’s operations within that precinct, including the number of supporters we need to identify & voters we need to mobilize to win.
- Instead of calling different, random numbers every time you volunteer with Team Markey, you own a specific list of voters that you help us call through multiple times.
*In doing so, build relationships and community within your neighborhood. Now more than ever, we believe person-to-person connection are essential for each of us as individuals and as a collective democracy. On Team Markey, that starts at the precinct level.
